Affiliation

St. Patrick’s High School (ICSE) is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. At the class X level students appear for the ICSE examination conducted by the Council.

The ICSE Examination (Class x)

The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education has been designed to provide an examination in a course of general education, through the medium of English. The examination question paper is a balance of objective and descriptive questions. Projects are given for almost all the subjects to help the students get a deeper understanding of the subject.

Candidates for the examination are required to have completed satisfactorily all of the following courses:

  • A third language from class I to class VIII (Internal Examination)
  • Art (Internal Assessment)
  • SUPW- Socially Useful Productive Work and Community Service (Internal Assessment)
  • Moral and spiritual values in Physical Education
  • Environmental Education (As per syllabus prescribed)
